Level 2 Transition

level 2:
We have a "leap frog" traveling from one group to another side to side with the back spot connected the entire time.
I always thought it fell under Transitions
"During transitions, at least one base must remain in contact with the top person."
However the safety judge at Aloha Spirit gave us a deduction with this quote
"Release moves must return to original bases."



I'm confused...

From what I can see there was no release, I'd argue the deduction.
 
It's not a lean frog but that would be a legal transition. It is not a release move.

Email that video to les and let him know what violation you got at the comp.
