I'm the new "competition team director" for Middle school cheer. Our uniforms are at least 10 years old, polyester top, pleated skirt. We want to get new uniforms this year. We would probably buy them and rent them out to the girls. Most of the other teams we have seen have allstar type uniforms. Tight fitting, lycra material. Sort of like prep uniforms. No bling although CP said some teams had a bit of sparkle. Our preferred vendor is Varsity but I could possible look at other companies. Is it just prep style uniforms I should look at or do some companies have a specific school comp line? We do have a Varsity rep, I just wanted to know a little before I contact her.
    Thanks!

Well Varsity does have the massive school catalog with school uniforms if you want a more traditional look, but there is also Rebel on Campus that does school uniforms too.

Look at Varsity's motionflex uniforms in the school catalog. They should be "all star-y" looking without the bling. We have white motionflex uniforms that have held up well 5 years, although if you need them to last another 10 years I wouldn't recommend white!!

A couple of years ago Varsity had a prep catalog. Not sure if they have one this year. I would get in contact with your rep!

If price isn't an issue, GK is another vendor!

    WOAH girl. Good memory! :)

I haven't coached in a few years, but our girls wore these stock uniforms from Omni Cheer. They were not the cutest, IMO, but the girls loved them and the school was willing to pay for them. Our girls paid next to nothing to cheer, so Varsity wasn't an option.

ETA that GK typically has great stock options as well.

I looked at the Varsity school catalog and they have a few options for comp style uniforms. Not bad price either, $125. Just looked at GK too, it looks good but there are no prices... I might contact them to ask. Thanks everyone!

Omni has GK stock uniforms-the prices seem reasonable.

There is another company I've seen before, name possibly starts with C or S but I can't think of the name? They do cheap/prep uniforms.

Also found this company, the price is very reasonable! Anyone know anything about them?

Custom Stretch Side Line Cheer Uniforms, $84.99 cheerleading uniforms

(By the way, I'm not a coach, I'm just on the board of the volunteer organization running the MS cheer program.)

JK JK, CS isn't the bad company I was thinking of. Avoid Extreme Bling It.

LOL. That's the understatement of the year.

I haven't heard great things about CS either, but I think it's more hit or miss. Some people love them, some have had major problems.

Cheerleading.com? I don’t know anything about uniforms other than I strong opinion about Rebel. I get their catalog for some reason.
