I'm trying to decide if I want to rent a car for the weekend or just do Uber. If they charge regular fees, Uber will be much less, but I don't know if Surge fees take effect for big competitions like NCA. I imagine it'll be a busy weekend for drivers. Does anybody Uber these big events? Is it super expensive?

We normally rent a car, but I know there were issues the year it snowed. Uber and taxis were charging triple or more what the normal rate was. The DART is always an option as well.

If you're staying downtown then use the DART trains. Easy and cheap way to get around.

We're staying at Country Inn and Suites. I'll call and see if they're near DART line. Thanks!
