Personally I think orange and panthers have the best routines this year in terms of difficulty and cleanliness. I didnt predict SE beating either one of them. I like SE routine but I just dont think it stands up to what the other two have put out.
And we all know a clean orange routine is deadly.

Well I gotta say. Thank you NCA, for being transparent about scores and actually uploading the scores and breakdowns on their website.

This was so refreshing (and isn't it sad that we have to even think that?!) I don't know why every competition doesn't do this. Not every single person is going to agree with every score, but sometimes it actually helps to understand why a team placed as they did versus just thinking there was "favoritism" or "someone got robbed". Props to NCA!

I love the changes but I don't think the stunting or tumbling is solid enough to compete this year with the top 3. I loved some of their themes but the last two years have not been my thing. Maybe its a bit of a rebuilding year for them? I second bringing the cheetah bows back. Hoping they can turn things around before worlds.

I could watch that rountine over and over again....saw the practice video before NCA and the energy is amazing. The strength of those stunts is unbelievable.

I hope there's a video of Fierce Tigerettes from this weekend floating around. That's quite an impressive score.
A lot of people were going off about how orange didn't deserve it because of what one girl on orange posted on snapchat (I think?) after Cheersport.
(and if I see one more person say their favourite team "should of" won, I might throw something.)

Yeah it's probably a bit of a rebuilding year for WCSS although they still have a great look to them (and yes, bring back the cheetah bows!). They've definitely made some great improvements, but it looks like the routine needs some adjusting or more mileage. It was bizarre to see their last three or so tumblers end their passes with fulls, as if they are too exhausted that late in the routine to throw their actual pass.

I have zero clue what any of that nonsense is but why in the world would an entire team get penalized for something an athlete said or did related to a completely different competition unless it violated any USASF rule?

This. I said it before. All things equal and everyone hitting, Orange is usually going to take it home.

I saw a screenshot of what the kid posted, and it was garden variety complaining that I'm 99% sure happens at every competition; nothing horribly offensive or against any rules. I guess people were mad about the kid being negative about SE?
I feel like we need to start mentally preparing for the nonsense that's gonna happen during/after worlds now.

It's something that Worlds will never ever do and yet, they call themselves as the most competitive and prestigious cheerleading event.

I have some frustrations with the scoring details (normal for any competition), but I love the fact that NCA shares this information with the coaches and is at least semi-transparent with their process.

While I didn't agree with every score and every result, NCA generally strikes me as the most well-run, fair, and unbiased competition we go to every year.
