    Hi!

I’m a junior in high school and I really want to cheer in college, so I need to upgrade my tumbling skills. At the moment I can do bhs series, and am working standing tucks. I need to learn standing tucks, bhs tuck and bhs layout by next March. Do you guys think this is possible? What are some drills I can do during quartine for tucks and layouts + bhs because my bhs is ugly. Thank you, any and all advice is appreciated!

Anything is possible. There’s no timeline that anyone can really give you though. Skills progression is different for everyone though. Also some people find it easy to tumble on the dead mat, while other people have years of experience and high level of tumbling on the spring floor have a difficult time transitioning to dead.

I would focus more on perfecting your technique and progressing safely. Don’t put time constraints on yourself. Good luck
