New Coach

Hello Everyone! I recently just graduated from college and just got a job as a high school JV coach! I have my first open gym this upcoming Monday. Any advice or suggestions on how to run my first practice is greatly appreciated !

It's been going really well! the biggest issue I've had is that no jv flyers are coming to these open gyms. I have about 20 girls show up every week and maybe only 1 flyer comes! it makes it super difficult to do anything. I'm hoping that I'll get a lot more the week of tryouts

How do you select your flyers? When are your tryouts? In my experience new people always seem to show up at tryouts.
