Anyone tried this? I feel like it could possibly be the answer to those torturous cheer mornings of hair curling. But only if the curls come out right.

    Anyone anyone?

Saw the infomercial on it and was curious. Almost seems too good & easy to be true! All I could think though is what if your hair got stuck or tangled in it?!?

So this girl is kind of annoying (to me at least) but she does a lot of videos reviewing infomercial products. She did one on this too.:

We'll be sticking with the pink sponge rollers from the Dollar Store, which is what we are supposed to use. CP has a ton, a ton of hair and it takes me a good hour, hour and a half to roll it, but we use the Top Gun method and have never had the "you need to try harder tomorrow" speech directed at us.

@KikiD22 always knows about all the curl things. She is the hair curling guru, so if this thing works, she'll know! But sadly, if it does, it'll still look better when she does it than when the rest of us mere mortals do it. :banghead:

Last time I was in Sally's the manager told me she tried it on a customer because they wanted to see how/if it worked before buying it. She said it worked great on them (I think she was actually surprised). She said they did it on dry hair with no product in it and it made beautiful curls. They didn't have anymore in or I would have asked for a demo on my cp. I am interested to see if it works well. Unless we go with a straight pony this year, fingers crossed!

I keep getting emails from Sally about this thing, but I honestly have no idea how well it works. I'm not aware of anyone I know that's tried it yet. Sorry... *Handing in my guru crown now*

Nope, keep your crown. Until I actually see some better curls from this thing on someone's head, you remain the reigning curl queen.

Why is she shouting at us?! Ahhhh!!! I would love to try this, I can't even get a decent curl with a wand, but I worry about getting my hair sucked up in it.

It WORKS but not for super long hair- and doesnt make perfect cheer curls. It scared me when i held it up to my daughters head and it sucked her shoulder length hair in- but out popped nice curls- i do think its better for school and going out than cheer. I love the curl formers (aka doodle bops) but she hates sleeping in them- so ill be breaking out the curling iron again this season.

OMG, she's annoying :deadhorse: I couldn't even listen to the whole review.
I wonder if the curls hold. I can get CP's hair to curl great, they just fall out in 15 minutes if I don't use curlformers.

If you use the orange can of herbal essence - spray the hair before you curl, hold the curler in until the hair smokes- those curls will stay all day long. My older daughter had hair down to her bu** and once we curled it- it stayed all day long. good luck
