IASF split off from USASF in 2016. The international divisions have been solely under them since then.

Don't know how active I was then- probably just popping in here and there. TOTALLY missed that.

I mean, CEA has already proven you can throw a mesh teddy on non-senior kids, add a solid tubetop or halter over the chest and a shirt with bloomers over the butt and call it a non-crop uniform so why would we expect gyms not to find a creative way around this? Mesh alone gives the appearance of no stomach showing---add some stretch (due to body size), lights or a flash and wah-lah...it's like the mesh isn't even there.

I'm not sure which uniform you're referring to but I think calling it a mesh teddy is extreme, and makes it weird.

Well, it is weird that the rule designed to eliminate crop tops in non-senior teams was so easily worked around it may have never been changed. As for the reference to the lining they use; I pulled that from the older uniform reveal thread when their 3 piece combo first came out. There simply isn't enough solid fabric to call it a leotard. And while it's not one specific uniform, it's continued to be used depending on the team/level/location.

ehhhhh... it's a backless tube top with crotch snaps and VERY sheer mesh. That they'd unsnap and roll up under their bra when competing on a senior team. I understand the genius behind the idea for individual team uniforms with extensive use of crossovers but... just get a gym wide uniform if that's a significant issue in your program.

My daughter has always had a very sheer mesh stomach on her uniforms. It didn’t bother me, because it was all we knew since joining, but after seeing a more full coverage top, I do think that looks much nicer and classier.

I prefer teams to either have a complete full top or a complete crop. I don’t like the leotard under a crop look, whether it’s mesh or more solid. I did notice that teams that have international divisions as well as USASF ones (which often means larger gyms) tend to have full tops for all of their program except for USASF world’s teams, and I’m wondering if that will be the new trend as teams adopt new uniforms.

I wish everyone would just kind of go back to the STINGRAY model which I think is still EVERYONE IN SAME UNIFORM EXCEPT WORLDS TEAMS. I think even their senior non-worlds teams are in same full top uni that they've had for years.

I think Cali, CA and Rockstar do same. Everyone in same uniform unless it's a Worlds team.

When you have kids who may fill in or cross to more than one team in more than one age band, it makes the most sense.

Yes, we do same and it works. Have program uniform for a few years so no need to purchase a new one if moving from say s2 to j3.

We have them for 4 years now. Next year I think our Junior and Senior teams are getting a new design, and youth and below will keep the current one. Or everyone will get new. It's still up for discussion.

If gyms want something to differentiate each team bows are an easier and much cheaper way to do so

Yes! I think Cali and Rays both do the team bows thing.
