So last night's game between Croatia and England managed to cause minor quakes too. In this diagram you can see the vibrations that our seismological centers registered when we started to lead with 2:1 and then the end of the game. The reason for this was several thousands people jumping up and down and celebrating at the same time:

I'm not a big soccer fan but I do enjoy the World Cup, after watching one of the first group round games I decided that Croatia was my pick to win:). Fingers crossed for you all!

Well, we won the second place, but that silver medal has a golden shine.

Please keep Sweden in your prayers. We have some extreme weather and have had for several weeks now. This has resulted in Excessive Heat Warnings, like insanely hot for being up north and a lot of elders and kids being especially effected. Fans are selling out of every single store. And most importantly raging wild fires, I think we're upwards towards 80 fires at this point, several of them huge and not under control. We've asked for help from the EU and have hired water planes from Italy, but it's spread so much at this point it's really scary.

In February 2018, the DOD released a policy directed towards nondeployable service members, i.e., those who have been nondeployable for more than 12 consecutive months would be processed for administrative separation or evaluated for disability. The policy exempts pregnant and postpartum service members as well as war wounded service members. The policy also provides for waivers. Difficult to argue the policy is discriminatory on its face.

I'd be much happier if the U.S. Department of Defense didn't spend upward of $41 million on Viagra, rather than taking funds for what can be a life threatening virus.

The military is an occupation that can include violence in environments with limited medical personnel, medications and equipment. <<<Basically, the answer my daughter got when she asked why she couldn't enroll with a bleeding disorder that's under control. Currently, members that contract HIV are put on non-deploy/non-sea status which, bottom line, works until it doesn't. Short term and small population, you can find positions for those members. Long term and a growing population, you can't fill positions based on medical condition over training and need.

Sorry for the double post, but I fact checked that number since it was thrown around in the media so much and it's actually $84 million. Viagra is $41.8 million, but the generic counterparts are another $42 million. But, I also did the math and Viagra and it's counterparts are $45 per pill, so that $84 million equates to 1.88 million pills. So, out of our 24 million vets, active duty, and reserve, only 7.8% of them would get 1 pill per year, that includes our disabled and those psychologically affected from war. My heart goes out to every single member of our troops. Government funding is what it is, but perhaps a better question is why can't our bazillion dollar drug companies do better for all of our troops? :(

I’m looking into gluten free products. What would you look for or not in the ingredients list when buying pasta? Any brands do you like? Or recommend? Any info on gluten free products?
