    So I have a question:

How do boys wear those streamlined AS tops that tuck into the pant (so the “belt” is visible)? Is it like a male bodysuit? Like in ballet?

Pretty sure they just tuck them in. I know at least some of them are just regular tops tucked in, maybe not all of them I guess.

Then I am doubly confused as to how they can tumble all over the place without their tops flying up to their armpits and I can barely tie my shoe without my shirt turning into a crop.

I would almost admire the balls it takes to do this if it wasn’t this chick and it wasn’t cheerleading:

Salahi Too Tall, Couldnt Dance, Cheerleader Alums Say NBC4 Washington

I mean, she thought cheer was so simple and uncomplicated that she could just waltz into an alumni performance and call herself a cheerleader without knowing a thing about the team... including THE HEIGHT REQUIREMENT THAT WOULDVE GOTTEN HER AXED AFTER THE FIRST ROUND OF TRYOUTS.

The level of delusion is stunning.

The "nobody remembered her but no one said anything" part is the most hilarious part.

I know me, my memory is terrible. So if I don't recognize a former athlete, I assume it's because I have the long-term memory of a grape. I would definitely pull an "I don't think I know her but I also can't remember what I had for dinner yesterday so it's prob just me." and not say anything.

I think a lot of them probably thought that. Because honestly, what’s more likely? That they don’t remember her, or that some stranger off the street was playacting for attention like in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

Things are much different for you all with FaceTime being a thing.

    Previously it was like:

Call home when your minutes were free after 9.
    Cry.
    Visit one weekend a month.
    Cry.
    Wait for break.
    Cry.
    Repeat for an entire semester.

I was not as homesick as my roommates and others on my floor because I did live in same state and could make the drive, just not regularly.

Also first semester was rough but the second was much better.

I also found that the more involved you are in school things, the less homesick you get because you are busy.

Next week or next year? Either way, get involved in an activity, club or church group. Most kids who I know who went to a school far away did not do well if they weren't involved in something. Most schools have several to choose from. This year is an exception as things will work differently and many campuses are closed or have strict socializing rules, but if you can spend the first few weeks making an effort to meet people (if a dorm room door is open, walk in and introduce yourself, say hello to the people sitting near you in class, etc), finding a few activities that may interest you, and focusing on classes you will be fine!

Which cheerleb do you see here?

Am I crazy? Given how many fan accounts she has, I’m surprised nobody has hit on this. Might be because Britney is more of a 00’s phenomenon and I’m aging myself.

I see the resemblance so strongly but I guess it’s just me. I think it’s the doe eyes and the eyebrows.

But for a long time I couldn’t tell two of my teammates apart because they both had long wavy dark hair. One was Latina. The other was was freaking Japanese/French. But their hair made them almost identical to me because I’m an idiot (it should be noted I also have long dark wavy hair, so it’s not like it was foreign to me). I’m really bad at this game.

Not just you. I've said same to my daughter, who agrees. She has a few pics with said "cheerlebrity" as an aside....thankfully her stalker phase has passed.
