Piaa Cheerleading Rules

    I'm interested in what the PIAA cheerleading rules are. I couldn't find a link for a website or anything so if you can help it would be appreciated!

    they dont have there own rules... they follow aacca rules

    HA HA HA HA!!! Sorry, PIAA makes me laugh. They don't have separate cheerleading rules (as mentioned, follow AACCA) and don't have a PIAA Cheer Championship and don't consider cheer a sport....yet the cheerleaders have to get physicals (which I'm not opposed to) and get those stupid PIAA cards signed. If you're going to make us do all the busy work of a sport-treat us like one!!!

    I've only seen a PIAA Cheer Championship in Philadelphia and it was like House Party meets a Step Team that has gone wrong!!! I can't beileve i did that for four years of my life and thought I was "Hot Stuff" Dont know about the rest of the state...

    If PIAA considered us a sport they could keep us from nationals and we would have to wait until August to start practice. I'm fine with it this way, have you seen what other states have done to cheerleading when they classify it as a sport? Completely ruin cheer as we know and love it.
