Someone needs to stay attached to the flyer...either backspot or brace...and you need to make sure when the bases catch the flyer, her head does not drop below her hips.
Flyers can only become inverted from the ground. I'm not sure what you mean by "roll to a cradle" but to do a roll from prone, flyer has to put at least one foot on the ground before becoming inverted and doing the roll. Similarly, you can do a back walkover "out of" a cradle in level 2 only if the flyer has at least one foot on the ground prior to becoming inverted - so if she's in a cradle, she has to put one foot on the ground and do a back walkover from there. Bases can still hold onto the one leg in the air if you want, but you can't do a back walkover straight from a cradle - that's a level 3 skill.
we do them in our pyramid for j2. 2 flyers drop frem extended hitch to prone, 3 from prep to prone. i guess rules Re different bc its in the pyramid. one base and the backspot stays on the ankles and the bases catch the flyer's chest/stomach.
