Random question about international divisions for Summit. Do they compete against "regular" teams at competitions? Like would S2 compete against S(Int'l)2? If Int'l gets scored on a different scoresheet how does that work?

No, I believe they are kept separate because of the different scoresheets

Not sure if they're changing it this season or not, but we competed international last season and were placed in the same division as regular senior teams. I'd imagine thats different for this season, but I wouldn't count on competing in the IASF scoresheet. We didn't compete on the IASF scoresheet (even when they split international/regular senior division) until Summit.

According to varsity, the scoring will be on the same rubric but will be re-weighted to match the international IASF scoring (building heavy versus tumbling). So I doubt the international teams would be combined with elite teams this season due to that.

I am wondering if they will use the provisional ages or the IASF ages this year.
It will impact my daughter's team if they use IASF grid

The ages for international divisions have been posted for coaches so they should be working off that document. There are age changes based on that document. Junior is 10-16 and senior is 14-18 but ages are during 2019

Whatever happened to Nfinity’s Champion League competition? Does it still exist? My girls rediscovered the movies on Prime and then we realized that for a couple of years we haven’t seen or heard anything exciting? So what happened?

    It still exists!

They split up the country in “regions”.

Hello, So I am going on vacation to the St. Petersburg, Pinellas Park, Tampa area from the 14th - 17th and for Monday and Tuesday my lover boy will be at work during the day and I was looking for fun things to do during the day while he is gone and was trying to think of any cheer gyms in the area that I can maybe get something from the pro-shop. Are gyms typically open during the day in the summer time?
And if not any gyms, if anyone is in this area and can think of anything fun for someone to do and poke around that would be awesome!

I moved to the Clearwater/St Pete area about a year ago! :) Can definitely help you out with places to eat/things to do. DM me and I can give you suggestions based on what you want to do.

Gym wise, Brandon isn't too far of a drive. We've got Stingray Tampa now which is actually in Oldsmar, but not sure about their pro shop. I work at Rock Solid in Pinellas Park and we've got a great pro shop as well. Top Dog is right by Rock Solid but again, not sure of their pro shop status.

Like I said, DM me ... I've gotten to know the area really well and can give you a ton of stuff to do!

@luv2cheer92 or anyone who might know, at NCA was Open 4 not divided All Girl and Coed? Did they have to compete against each other? Thanks

There weren't any all girl teams. I'm sure if there had been at least 2, it would have been divided.
