So about 6 weeks ago i broke a bone in my hand after touching down in a tuck (put my hands down and my hand was upside down, very lucky i didnt break my wrist too). Anyway I'm cleared to slowly get back into tumbling on December 3rd, and I'm very nervous. I'm not sure what I will start working on in the first few weeks, but I'll need to work quickly as that leaves only 5-6 practices until i compete.
What are some skills/drills I should work on first before trying to do a handspring or trying to do a running tuck again? I've been trying to do simple things like holding a push up position for a few seconds, but my hand isn't really strong enough to hold my weight yet...Any tips?
