How far out does NCA post their schedule? I know the block schedule is up but the performance schedule.

@luv2cheer92 Do you know who will be in the arena this year?

Not sure, I would assume just Worlds teams and maybe Special Needs.

Last year they were not in the arena, but it's possible. J5 used to be, but there's more and more Worlds teams there every year. I can't remember if or when R5 was ever in the arena, but if so it's been a while.

Last year NCA was spread out over more days so some lower level teams got to compete in the arena. However, R5 didn’t....they were competing the same days as Worlds teams so in regular halls.

Yea Level 4 was in the arena (minus 2 divisions... still bitter lol). But since J5/R5 were the same days and didn't fit in the arena, I'm guessing they probably won't this year either.

It was back in 2011, which I think was the first year for R5 and it was called “Senior Open.” But that’s been a while and that may have been the last year that it was in the arena.

I had no idea R5 was ever called Senior Open. I think of Senior Open as older athletes but not specific levels. I wish there was a book on the history and evolution of all-star Cheer.

It is probably confusing if you were not involved in cheer then. Fun fact: Before there were levels, there were just words. Ex: My senior year, my team competed in the Senior Advanced Division (translation is probably closest to Level 3 or 4.) My younger cousin in the Pee Wee Novice division (now most closely aligned to Youth 1 or 2 I think.)

Does anyone have a block schedule for the International Level 1-4 competition on Friday?
