While Nationals season is just about to take off it’s hard to not think about try outs. I find the ever changing age eligibility confusing from year to year. Does anyone know what will happen for the 2019-2020 season? Can we assume they are raising ages again? TIA

No one will know for certain until it's announced.

I recall reading something about USASF usually ALTERNATING rule changes and age grid changes by season (so the rules and the age grid don't change at same time.) I am not sure how true that is, but if true, didn't the age grid change in 18/19? So this year would be a year for changing rules/skills/levels?

I hope this will be the case. I think the changes are good ones overall, but would hate to see the exact same group of kids gets their hopes up for 2 years in a row..

Making it in June would be too late. They tried doing that a couple of years ago and had to retract their age grid and wait a year. Hopefully it’s done before try out season.

This and that it should keep going in the direction it is going. IMO a hard 14 for Senior teams would be great again just my 2 cents.
