Should I Start My 2 Year Old In Cheer?

As a coach of the Tinys/Minis at my gym, we usually don't take them until they are four. We take some three year olds that have the capability to pick up choreography and focus during practice. If your daughter would be able to handle it, and you can find a gym that will take them on a team, I say go for it! My gym offers rec classes which is a good way for the super young ones to start. It is less intense, and more focused on learning the basics of cheer. I would suggest finding a gym that offers rec classes to see if your child is really even interested in cheerleading.

def not an early age. i started when i was like 5 or 6 & i wish i actually started earlier. if your not sure how to go about, put her im tumbling first so that she can get her skills and she is she likes it.
