We used to run the routine back to back with like a 30 second break between fullouts. It was torture, but then just running one fullout by itself seemed much easier after.

I always like to do that because sometimes if competitions are backed up in warm-ups but not on the actual comp floor, you can have to run from warm-ups straight out to compete. If you can hit 2x in a row, endurance should be good enough that you don't need a break between the last warm-up mat and the comp floor.
