This summer at camp there are plenty of opportunities for cheerleaders, just like you, to lead by example while making unforgettable memories and learning material that will prepare your squad for the season ahead! Cheerleaders embody a timeless spirit: a spirit of perseverance, optimism, and genuine support for the common good. Varsity celebrates cheerleaders and wants to spread the word about the magic cheerleaders create in the lives of others. That’s why the America Needs Cheerleaders campaign was created.
PIN IT FORWARD:The Pin It Forward program is a way to promote all the reasons why America Needs Cheerleaders, specifically the values developed through cheerleading, such as: leadership, spirit, commitment, kindness and motivation!

Here’s how it works:

• On the first two days of camp varsity summer camp instructors will be looking for cheerleaders who demonstrate those positive values.
• Then during Spirit Sticks on the second night, each instructor will recognize one participant and give them a set of
  TWO pins- one to keep and one to give away.
• On the third day, it’s the pinned cheerleaders’ job to identify a cheerleader from ANOTHER squad that they feel demonstrates the same positive traits/values and give them their second pin!
• Then on the final day all the all the cheerleaders that received an America Needs Cheerleaders pin will stand up and be recognized!
