Not having the notifications is really a pain especially if people ONLY use the app. I've messaged a couple of people but they don't know it because there's no notification. I bet a lot of people don't even know to look at the menu and see alerts or messages.
Because there's no way anyone would just ignore me, right?

ios 8 will be a refinement and work a good bit better. ios 7 was hard because they rewrote a lot of code and had to play catsup.
