I'm 5'5" and 103 pounds. Is that too tall or too big to fly? Be honest please!

If you're on a mini team, yes. Otherwise, no.

No if you squeeze and suck in your stomach like your suppose to as a flyer your bases wouldn't have and problem and you won't fall alot

I'm 5'6" and 120 pounds but I am super flexible. I have a lot of confidence so I can always hit stunts when I fly them because I am tight and sharp but only fly with my friends at open gyms. Do you think I can fly for my all star team?

The size of the flyer isn't as critical as the size of the bases. If all of any flyers bases are munchkins, it's gonna be tough. Every coach has to make decisions as to who's gonna fly and who's gonna base by using the athletes standing on the mat at the time.

You're not big to fly. It's just some bases prefer "smaller" people.

Too tall or too big? No. Is that the best spot for you? It depends on the makeup of your team and where you can be most helpful to the team as a whole.

We have a girl on our team who I think is 110 and pretty tall, and shes a flyer. It all depends on how tight you are, and how willing you are to work with your stunt group.

It's normal for me on the computer, but old school on my phone. Only for Acedad & RetiredI5's posts though. Ironic.

To be honest it does not so much matter your size. The main factor is if you are able to stand up in the air correctly and if you are flexible enough to preform all of the body positions correctly.

I don't think there is anything to tall. Like everybody had been saying, it all depends on the bases. I'm 5"5 and it's fine on my team. Also technique is more important than flexibility (in my opinion) . If you can't squeeze your legs or butt and hold up your weight it doesn't matter that you have a needle. :p

    Good luck!
