Can anyone tell me about UCA all stars nationals? A team from our gym is going and I was just wondering what that event was like?

UCA is definitely one of my favorites, smaller than Cheersport and NCA Nationals but, still a large comp and you have a good handful of International teams that attend and are very good. The venue is at the Wide World of Sports and performances are held in the Field House (often referred to as the Milk House), Jostens or large tents. It's compact so, you don't have any issues running from one venue to another to see teams. The athletes all receive with their comp fees a 3 day park hopper and their admission to WWOS, parents can purchase a reduced price 3 day park hopper for the price of $255 which includes 3 day admission to WWOS (4 day- $285, 5 day $315) and they are valid from March 8-March 18, 2017. You do not have to purchase a park hopper to get into the WWOS, however, and the entrance fee is $30 each day. There is a celebration party that is on Sunday evening for an additional $40 at Hollywood Studios and they usually have a few rides open and a DJ. Food at the WWOS is concession stand food and food trucks. Awards are a banner, medal and jacket.

As far as, if the team is staying together in the All Star Resorts, I've only done that once as a chaperone. There are 4 to a room, we had 7 kids to each chaperone, and the rooms were comparable to low-mid moderately priced hotels. It was noisy because there are a lot of cheerleaders but, convenient because of the access to the buses which take you anywhere you need to go on their property.

The Atlanta Braves have spring training at WWOS Feb-Mar, and they have games on the Friday before (Braves/Mets) and Monday after (Braves/Pirates) the competition so, traffic shouldn't be too bad getting in and out of WWOS this year. If you're a baseball fan and don't want to attend the parks, it's a chance to see the professionals in a smaller venue and often they'll take pics and sign autographs for the kids.

Thnx...I already checked last years schedule. I was just wondering if this years schedule was going to follow a similar time frame.

Yeah they aren't on there. Maybe not enough teams so they have to be combined with another division?
