Vote Down Threads

User's now have the ability to 'vote down' threads. If enough people vote down a thread it can be locked automatically. This should help users moderate on their own if someone is truly being inflammatory and no moderator is available.

In the upper right hand corner at the top of the thread you should see a button to Vote Down Thread.

Fixed number. I'll make it higher or lower depending on if what's in there right now doesn't work.

Well it just locks threads. And if the voting requirement is high enough should be able to not get too crazy.

FYI - I wasn't being sarcastic. I really do think it is a great idea. I can't wait to see how it is used by the different posters and personalities.

I like the idea but the time period of only 24 hours seems a lil short .. i say at least 48

it used to say this thread needs 15 in 24hrs to get closed .. now says 48
