I probably sound so stupid but I have no idea what it is. Like obviously its a cheer team, but I'm just confused

Pop Warner is a youth football and cheer organization that hosts an in house competition for all of its teams. They have Conference Competitions, then Regionals, then Nationals much like All Star EPs. So it's basically an EP for teams that participate in Pop Warner programs.

Teams are usually divided by age and then levels, and almost all of them are required to take every child that signs up (up to 36 children or something like that). So there are no try outs and it's usually a mixed bag. As an example, I coach Rec and this year I had three girls who couldn't do a somersault and five round off back tucks.

American Youth Football/Cheer (AYC) and United Youth Football/ Cheer (UYF) run on the same principals. All three leagues have Nationals in December in Florida.
