where do you/coaches advertise tryouts?

previously with my old gyms, we would do fundraisers at the beginning and end of the season like car washes and so on. The owners would also go to their old schools (elementary & high schools) and would send home flyers with the kids. They would also put in ads in the local paper. Being involved in community events also helped a lot example, for the Terry Fox run we would stand at the finish line cheering when runners crossed, we stunted, a few girls tumbled. for Canada Day (or any other parade sort of day), the parade would end in a giant park where activites went on all day before fireworks we would ask for a donation and we'd put kids up in stunts, paint faces and so on.
