I ended up getting the chocolate bar palette, but I didn't get the points bonus which is one of the reasons I decided to buy it right now instead of putting it off.

If you want a cheaper (mildly-high end) smoky palette try The Balm's Nude 'Tude palette. I used it for comp makeup and it stays on very well and there's a wide range of smoky shades in the palette.

Not exactly makeup, but dry shampoo suggestions? Next weekend is my group of friends traditional cabin weekend for the 4th. We'll go up Friday but the big party is Saturday which means that's when the most pictures will be taken, and by then my hair will be oily and not cute. I have thinner hair but a ton of it.

Hands down, Batiste. It actually makes your hair feel clean and not gritty like some dry shampoos can. Also if you have dark hair, they have tinted ones so you don't get a gray cast.

I like the one sold my Lush Cosmetics. No Drought dry shampoo | Liquid Shampoos | LUSH Cosmetics It's a dry powder versus the spray powder of most, but it's the only one that the smell doesn't nauseate me instantly. it's citrusy

I am in love with the Amika perk up dry shampoo because it smells AMAZING. It makes my hair feel like I just washed and blow dried it, and it doesn't leave any residue on my black/brown hair. Ulta often has it on sale for $10, but regular price is $22.

I also second the rec for the Batiste dry shampoo. It's great at soaking up all the grease/oil/dirt in your hair without weighing it down. Plus it comes in different hair types and it's super cheap (I usually get mine on sale at TJ Maxx). There's a reason it's a cult favorite.

The lush one is soo good! I just wish there was one closer to me.

They do sell online! I love the Lush dry shampoo, it's one of my staples. I hated all dry shampoo before I found it. Best thing I've discovered about it though, is to put it on and brush through your hair the night before. Helps absorb but really helps prevent any visible residue from it (especially for people with dark hair or dark roots like me!)

I love Batiste! I like how much volume my hair gets with it and sometimes use it just for volume when my hair isn't even greasy. I don't have the tinted one even thought my roots are pretty dark (I have dyed blonde hair), I purposely use too much so that my roots are less noticeable.

Haha I do the same thing! It buys me some more time between highlights

Double post but the Benefit They're Real "Killer Colors" line is out at Ulta! The mascara(same formula as original) now comes in brown and a bright blue that looks awesome as an accent on the lower lashes.
The liners come in plum, deep green, navy, and brown! I don't particularly like the liners and find them hard to apply but I know some people love them!

Have you used the mascara? It's so hard to find ones that come in brown so I'd love to try it!

Yes! I got a small sample of the brown one last week to try out before it launched and I really liked it. It's more of a true brown and not a black brown like most "brown" mascaras so it's definitely a more natural look, but I like it! It's the same formula as the original which is nice because you can build it if you like more volume.

I know there's a couple girls on here that are allergic to the black pigment in most mascaras so this would definitely be worth a try!

One of those is me haha [emoji3] I always want to try the high end mascaras but I don't want my eyes to swell shut so my options are limited so I'm really excited about this! Thank you!
