I wouldn't say we have had huge 4.2 divisions, but enough to do split divisions in comps (so like 12-14 total in small 4.2, then an additional 10-12 in large).

I'm not a doctor or lawyer, I just play one at work.

Does anyone know who got bids from all star challenge clash of titans this weekend??

Its my understanding it is up to the EP to pass down bids this year. It was a little discussion in ASGA a few months back.

Now I wouldn't put it past Varsity to have a typo on the bid winners list. But, there is at least one team that is listed as having a D1 bid and is competing D2 at NCA. Now if this is an error, hypothetically speaking, is there a rule that prevents teams from doing this? If not, there should be.

I think someone stated that gyms that are eligible for d2 can decide to compete d1 at any time

I get that, but I feel if you already have a bid/are already competing in D1 throughout the season, then you shouldn't be able to compete in D2 within that same season. I feel like you should have to pick one at the beginning of the season and stick to it, and change between seasons if you feel the need.

If I'm not mistaken it was passed down to their Large Senior 3 who got 1st in that division in AC. The coach made an announcement today that they received an AL bid to the Summit.

I agree. While it's the same age/level it seems almost equivalent to dropping a level for an easier NCA jacket. There are some phenomenal D2 gyms, but I am sure they [the teams changing to D2 after the can clearly hang in D1 and receive a bid to D1 Summit] see this as an easier win.

Tagging @ASCheerMan because maybe this is something NCA can make a rule about for next season. (I know he's super busy currently, but in case he sees this ;))
