Those bottom 5 spots are really going to come down to who at the bottom of the pack can hit.

I think in pre-lims there is going to be a noticeable separation in scores. The top 10-15 will probably be a decent distance ahead of the bottom 30. With 47 teams going in and only 24 coming out. And then with the 47 going into semi finals. There will probably be a big difference between the top 15-20 teams and the bottom of the pack.

The majority of us can agree who the top 15-20 will be. But the other really come down to the best execution.

There are some really talented teams that didn't get paids or partials this year.
Depending on the competition you went to, if you hit you got the paid or partial. (some competitions, all you had to do was show up)
So there will be a handful of the paid/partial teams that won't and shouldn't make finals.

There are plenty of At-large bid teams that can do this. I bet anyone a diet coke that some paid teams will not make it to finals.

I completely agree with you.
Out of the 25 paid bids, my guess is that 5 teams definitely won't make it to finals.
