I would love to see you guys take on Amy's job. It's harder than you think. Have you guys actually listened to what some athletes who got to comment on their performance are saying? Some of them don't even make any sense. A full show of Amy's talking sounds a lot better than the small comments made by random cheerleaders she interviews.

True, but there are some competent people who could do better. I'd bet ACEDAD and I could choose routines to edit, comment, make it TV worthy, and highlight the sport pretty well.

Theres always someone out there who can do better, but I also don't see ACEDAD complaining. I'm talking about the people making comments about had bad Amy sounds.

Agreed, but they are in the heat of the moment. Amy & Amanda aren't doing the commentary at the event. It's recorded later. And since they've been doing cheerleading commentary for years, they ought to be a little better at it.

Could I do it? Not in a million years. But I think there have to be others that could. Justin Carrier, for example, I think would do a wonderful job.

And they need to decide what demographic they are going after and make the whole show about that. Are they after the hard core cheerleading community (which I doubt)? If so, then ramp up showing the routines and cut most of the commentary out completely because that audience would also like to hear the music and VO's.

Are they after newbies? Then actually show a little about technique and explain more about what's going on. A good example of that is the cutaway car that NASCAR often uses to explain adjustments.

But this mashup just annoys the hard core people and does nothing to really inform anyone about the sport.

I agree that Justin Carrier could do a better job. I wonder how people are chosen to do the job. I also wonder if people like Justin have interest in doing the job. I don't see why he wouldn't be chosen for it. I just think you guys are being a tad picky. I don't think people outside cheerleading care about what Amy is saying, nor are trying to learn anything. When I watch gymnastics, I'm just watching. I don't really care about what is being said. Same for other sports that aren't cheerleading.

I get upset over completely irrelevant things. Like she said "All of them are either current Louisville cheerleaders and/or former." You can't be current and former. I only get annoyed because i'm weird about grammar and such. But I do really like that they showed Thailand. They deserved it.

I agree on how they need to decide what demographic they're aiming to. I would LOVE for them to completely cut our commentary or at least cut back. I can't hear and enjoy the music with the way it is right now. You can't get the full affect in my opinion.

a) who were the grand champs of worlds?
b) does gym tyme's IOC6 team always wear u of l uniforms? excuse my ignorance haha.

what exactly would have to be done for worlds to have a 90 minute airing or 2 hours? Because this sport is growing by the season...60 minutes isnt enough...
