Cheer Factory doesnt need any bailing out. There is someone new coming into play in terms of the facility. And I know this person wouldn't want to purchase a business that was in massive debt.

Vinny brought in a parent to help finance NJCF. He kept PA in the dark about it, and she found out via this new "partner". I'm not gonna say anything more until an official statement is made by both gyms, but keep in mind that i don't believe any of this supposed merger/takeover/whatever-you-wanna-call-it was ever laid out on paper.

Actually, Vinny brought in a parent to help finance NJCF, because of the debt. He kept PA in the dark about it, and she found out via this new "partner". Don't believe all of the rumors you have heard. The reason why CJA was brought into it in the first place was because he wanted less involvement. And the person that is coming in on the NJCF side of things has been interested in having a part in it LONG before CJA was in the picture.

And all of the information regarding the facility was shown when PA was interested in purchasing the facility

Were you present at any meeting or have you participated in any discussion with PA & Vinny regarding CJA's venture with NJCF?

Well it wasn't necessarily a merger. Things were attempted and unable to continue for whatever the reasons may be.

I know it wasn't a merger....but that was the quickest fail of whatever term you want to use.

Angel, it's been known since before the season started that Vinny wanted less involvement. And its a fact that the person who is going in on the facility has been wanting in on it for some time now.

Exactly, a lot of rumors will definitely spread that are either partially or totally UNTRUE. PA obviously pulled out because she felt it was in the best interest of CJA as well as the parents who chose to stay in the East Brunswick location. Whether there is a new, DEFINITE financial backer to come in and help out or not, she must have gotten the impression somewhere along the line that things were not as they seemed or that things were not going in the right direction financially in East Brunswick. I imagine this might have been from gut instinct or from seeing it with her own eyes. Maybe she even heard it from the mouths of a few EB parents or staff members. Who knows? Whatever the case, it was neither an impulsive decision on her part nor an uneducated one. In any case, I'm sure she did not want to continue giving the EB parents the run-around and taking their money if NJ Cheerfactory were to become a failing business down the road. This may not be the case with the new backer, but I'm guessing relying on a promise was too much of a risk to take. The sting would have been a lot worse for the EB parents if this were to happen several months and several thousand dollars down the road versus today when there are still options.

Doing this now allows these families to stay in EB at the revived Comets, go to Kenilworth to stay with CJA, or leave to go to another gym...and at the end of the day, while this is an unforseen annoyance, these are the three things that all of the EB parents were going to do anyway ..It's barely June and NO ONE is going to turn athletes away this early in the game no matter where they go.

It's unfortunate that this didn't work out as planned, but I think being honest and upfront about the situation with the EB parents today will end up saving them a whole lot more grief than if they'd been blindsided with this in September when teams at other gyms have already been formed and choreography is in full swing.

Yes you are correct Vinny wanted less involvement. However where you're incorrect is in the details or what you claim was going on. The fact remains that you were not involved in any discussion or meeting between the two so how can speak of things which you have no knowledge of? I understand you're eagerness to be involved with a cheerleading program however you're position is at times quite confusing. Unfortunately you are referencing second hand information and you have never been a witness or participant in the discussions between PA and Vinny. This is a fact you can never deny.

Again, WC is the backer
I for one would be all for it. But that is not what is happening. The person who will be taking over the facility is doing it from a business standpoint, not a cheerleading one. She is a businesswoman and hasn't really been in the cheer indsutry in the past as a gym owner or anything like that. She has a knowledgeable staff which will be able to help on the cheer side of things. But there are much bigger plans beyond cheer for the facility.
