Yes it is very much sad that I had to cut freaking out of 19 routines. Didn't even realize the amount of times i even used the word but it came naturally to me with the cali gyms. i understand that they are trying to make things more clean for everyone but freaking is a household word used by everyone and if we are going to start editing that then we might as well start editing the size of everyone's uniforms. this should have been explained to the music guys before season even started because it's going to be a hassle for us now. and you know what....i'm freaking angry about this situation and i dont freaking care what anyone thinks lol.

Justin Carrier has said that they made no such request.

Why did you HAVE to cut it out? At whose insistence? If it was just the owners of CA, then I guess you'll have to be angry at them.

It has nothing to do with ESPN. Varsity buys time on ESPN, much like an infomercial, to play Worlds and other competitions. There are multiple disclaimers that can be shown at the beginning of the program, such as what is portrayed in the following does not express the views of ESPN. In all reality, ESPN could care less what songs are being played or what words we use in our voiceovers, they are not governed by USASF.

NCA is not on ESPN they show their comps on FSN. Justin posted that NCA has had no problem with the voiceover so could it be that Cali wanted it out incase NCA did have an issue? If so maybe they should have called and asked first?

I was actually wondering if teams could e-mail Justin to see if a certain song was too risky or not.

Maybe they're trying to lead the way in making things more 'family-friendly'..what does it say if a high-profile program takes the initiative to be a little bit cleaner? Much like when TG and other programs put out the initiative about practicing safer progressions?

Oh yeah I can see why Cali would ask for it to be removed. It seems though that some believe NCA contact Cali when Justin said that NCA had no problem with it. People seem to like to have someone to point fingers at and now they don't know who. I think the only person that should be upset about it is Kyle since he had to do all the work in taking the voiceover out.

I have to say, after watching the Cali routines from American yesterday, I just kinda forgot all about it and didn't miss it as much as I thought I would.
