I'm sorry, but no....I get what you're saying, just don't know how a raw score can ever be higher then the perfect score for the competition.It doesn't. Even if all judges gave perfect scores (150 + 150 + 150) with 0 deductions, it would still equal 150 because they divide the score by 3. So say a team was given the scores of 120, 147, and 132.. they would take 120 + 147 + 132 = 399, then say they had 14 points in deductions, then their score is 385, then that score is divided by 3, leaving them with a final day 1 score of 128.3.. does this make more sense?
