this was my very first time going to worlds. i am on cali black ops! we went into the season hoping to get a full paid bid cause last year we didn't get one. The practice we had were absolutely terrible and our coaches pushed us past our limits. once we got our bid they pushed us even harder. our team was the closest team you could ever be a part of. once we got to worlds, it was amazing. we hit on day one, and when they announced our scores and we were in first; but they hadn't announced gymtyme and sot's scores. once they did, we were in third, by a good four points. we had a team meeting that night (that got pretty emotional) about how this is the most amazing team all of us had been on, and how thankful we were. going into finals all we wanted to do was hit. we didn't watch ANY other teams, even after we performed. awards was the most nerve racking thing i have ever experienced. we sat with UA prodigy, who were SO fun and nice. the sportsmanship in this division is amazing. once the announcer called third we all started bawling. we knew that we had moved up and were at least second in the world. when they called sot second, everything went blurry. words cant describe the feeling that we had. going into the season we didn't have any confidence that we would win, but we did. worlds was the BEST experience of my life, and i can now live the rest of my life calling myself a world champion.
