The fact that this was missed by the judges and did not result in a deduction is extremely concerning. I can completely defend judges as far as trying to count number of skills or missing something in synchronized and running tumbling without video replay, but this is something that was obvious and should not have been overlooked.

Exactly! I wonder if that deduction would have changed the rankings at all? Stingrays should've went back and challenged that if the judges indeed did not give Coed Elite a deduction for that illegal double double.

CSP tweeted this morning that it would have been a deduction of 1.0 and would not have changed placements, just the score of Coed Elite.

I love that Stingrays puts together SOLID level 5 teams that actually have a chance at winning their divisions. Steel, Orange Peach, & Slate are 4 QUALITY level 5 teams. Not like "another big gym" who seems to create level 5 teams just to say they have them. Kudos Stingrays! :rays:

It may not have made a difference in the placings, and even if the skill was thrown by an athlete on Janktastic all stars and they were in last place, I am really concerned that such an obvious illegality was not judged as such.
