They're doing champions league, yes?
CA Austin is at cheer sport! But there are plenty of good comps in Texas so they don't really need to leave the state, in fact 1100 teams are coming right to their backyard for NCA!
Yeah Texas has big competitions but they are big to the non-worlds teams. The only time they really get to compete against people is NCA
For panthers and cheetahs yeah but their other teams have SOT, Woodlands, etc to compete against. large teams are hard to come by so they aren't really competing against many less than the other large teams. Like KC cheer LAG Leaves the state all the time but I think cheer sport is the first time they've actually competed against other LAG teams. And even then they're only competing against 2 other teams.... They probably just don't see the point of spending money traveling just to compete against 1-2 teams when they'll have most of the division at NCA and then also have Champions League and majors. That's 3 pretty good comps and 3-4 is probably about as much as large teams are gonna get!Yeah Texas has big competitions but they are big to the non-worlds teams. I believe BlueCat has also mentioned that they don't always like the scoring setup at some of the other outside-Texas competitions (such as Cheersport). I think that's why they (typically) haven't gone. Also if you can save expenses, why not?

We were there! I love ACA!! Definitely a great competition!ACA is huge down here in January for all the gyms across Texas. There are several comps down here that don't get the spot light like NCA or Indy but the competition is just as tight!
Love it! So clean!
