Well y'all can just call us the dumb state of Texas. (Just kidding the Dallas and Houston moms on here may be much smarter. I represent south Texas lol)

I just sent the back of the uniform to a group of 5 cheer moms and asked what state is that. Only one mom responded correctly and the others said she cheated that they also didn't know what state that was. She says she didn't cheat she just studied it and said it couldn't be a west coast state and made an informed guess. My point is no one looks at that and says instantly omg that's SC!!

Or maybe y'all do.

I couldn't identify that bc I know them based on surroundings. I could easily look at a map and point to South Carolina, but just the shape itself? No way... Pretty sure I would only know Missouri, Michigan, Cali, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and Louisiana that way. They have very distinct shapes.... And I live in MO so obviously I know that.

States I'm pretty good with, minus, ya know, wyoming and colorado which are all square shaped and confusing. The rest I'd probably be pretty spot on.

Connecticut is easy, it's just a rectangle with a little tail. Massachusettes just looks like it's eating CT and Rhode Island.

so real. i can list the states in alphabetical order (only if you let me sing them... fifty nifty united states...) and i can label majority on a map with all of the states (all those squares in the middle get me every time). if you separate the states it all falls apart for me. i don't know.

it definitely depends on where you spend most of your time, though. i can individually draw the shape of all northeast states.

That's super impressive! I cannot for the life of me draw my own state - and I have an art degree. NY has way too many nooks and crannies and indents and islands and confusing spots

One of my favorite things on the internet are drawings of the US people do from memory. Whether they are American or not. It's so hysterical.

Neither did I...I mean I know I'm top of my class (granted it's not difficult. One of my friends had 2 F's and she was in the middle of my class of 50...) but I figured that was something simple enough since we learned it in 2nd grade
