i dont want to turn this conversation a different direction, but i almost wish they would have gone for a nc17 rating for the movie, i mean i wont mention the title of the movie, however ryan gosling was able to pull it off and that movie still made 12 million. moving on.......

The movie doesn't have a rating yet and word on the street (aka The Today show and The View) is that it is heading toward NC17

ive read quite a few articles debating whether it'll be R or NC17, ive also read, which probably not from the most reliable site, that they might release two different versions of the film, one with an R rating and one with an NC17 to satisfy everyone. who knows, with this much hype over it, it might not even matter what the rating is, it'll still probably make millions

Aside from her stripped down CIL what is her exact involvement in the book.

But I mean shes Beyonce, clearly we all have seen Beyonce's performances or in the least heard her music....so her contributing to the soundtrack seems right in her forte.

Now if like Mandy Moore dropped a track for this sound track I'd have some questions

Idk... Considering the nature of BEYONCÉ (the album not the artist) I don't know why anyone's surprised. Rumour has it Haunted is on the soundtrack, and an interview recently posted with Boots sounds like Bey's on it a lot. We'll see!

Exactly. Its like people think Beyonce is still singing about whether or not a man can pay her bills and that he's a bug a boo.

Home girl had me blushing on a Sunday during that Grammy's performance.

She'll survive. Interestingly they have both of our given names in England. It's funny how random the names seem to be. (She goes by Maggie, which is only in Canada ;) )

That's my sister's name! I haven't looked for my name on coke bottles, but Maggie is definitely not a weird name. I'm surprise they don't have it in the US. How do I find out if they have my name?
Side note, all our names (5 of us) are common dog names, so even though we can't find them often on normal stuff they're simple to find on dog stuff :D

Exactly.

Today my coworker was talking about some series...The Testing, Independent Study, Graduation day... a trilogy by Joelle Charbonneau or something.... SHe was claiming how popular its going to be and how it sounds so good and how it was for sure going to be the next movie trilogy

And I was like describe it?

It ended up with me saying "Girl bye... thats the same as Hunger Games, Divergent, and any dystopian type book that they're pumping into society because people are such lemmings and will buy and read anything and swear by it"

Like Kyle and Kendall Jenner (w a Ghost Writer) put out their own dystopian type book. If that don't tell yall something, then I don't know what will.

I had to shimmy this, then unshimmy just to shimmy again.

Just from reading the title "The Testing" I could have told you what it was most likely about and I've never ever heard of those books. Also, I feel like Kylie and Kendall's view of a dystopian world is actually just middle/lower class living but like...

They need to stop making every book into a movie and then splitting the last one into two movies. Harry Potter didn't even do that right so y'all can stop. I can promise you that Mockingjay doesn't need to be split into two movies (mainly because it was the worst book).

And while we're on the topic of disappointing books - Is anyone as frustrated as I am with the Mortal Instruments series? I can't find any motivation to finish anything past the third book. First off, it's so repetitive with the whole Jace and Clary thing. Every single freaking page is the same thing over and over. JUST STOP. It might be worse than the Tris/Four nonsense that is dragged on through the whole Divergent series - which is the only reason I haven't finished (or probably wont) Allegiant. I can't help but feel like I am reading the author's personal fantasy fanfic of herself in this enchanted world that she got published. I mean the main characters name is Clary and the authors "stage name" is Cassandra Clare. Clary and this fantasy world have so much in common with Clare's real life that it's not exactly coincidental. Idk, the fact that the author is a 40 year old woman writing a personal version of a romantic fantasy for teenagers is all very creepy to me too. The books aren't even written well. It's literally published fan fiction. But then again, it been rumored that 50 Shades is too, so.....

Whatevs. Wake me up when there's some new, original, good quality book.

I never bothered to finish Mockingjay. Once I figured out who died I was just like....Naw to it all.

50 Shades is Twilight fan fiction so.... there you have it

im sure this belongs in the 18+ forum but since i dont have access... just saw the 50 shades of grey trailer  why yes, yes i will go see that...
however as good looking as jamie dornan is, im kinda surprised he was casted. then again the original choice of actor didnt really make me too excited either. oh well.

What? Charlie Hunnan is a hhhhhhotty! He makes dirty bikers look good. ;)

Y'all have probably already moved this discussion to the 18+ forum (*sighs because 17 is the worst age ever*) but my boyfriend is super nerdy (think dungeons and dragons, physics major nerdy... but I mean he's cute), and a few years ago he got into fan fiction (particularly that of Harry Potter), and joined an online community like FB where they would discuss fan fiction and video games and other nerd paraphernalia. We were talking about 50 Shades one day and he told me that the rumors that it was a Twilight fan fiction were actually true. He remembers when it worked its way through their forums a few years back (makes me uncomfortable to think he read it but okay). Apparently it is to his forum members what 3 y/o back handsprings or cheerlebrities are to us: A joke. Sorry, I just think it's so weird.

Nope. It likely won't come out until the soundtrack is released. Or it will be released without any notice like she's been doing with everything since the last album... Like really... How does she expect me to just have money at all times in case she releases something? It's a good thing I was saving for Worlds when OTR tickets went on sale.. And that my mom believed that the tickets were necessary so she lent me money for Worlds.

The Deathly Hallows was necessary to turn into 2 movies. Mockingjay and Breaking Dawn are not. Honestly, every Harry Potter book should have been made into 2 movies. There's so much that happens in those books and incredible story lines that happen separately of the main one (find Voldemort kill Voldemort yay)
