All-Star New Uniforms 2014-2015 Season...just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!

CP's uniforms last a minimum of 3 years. Sometimes we swap out for sizes but they've never worn out. Who was your manufacturer?

The first year was a small company??? Not sure of the name, but the uniforms required excessive alterations. Last year, Varsity.

That's surprising. We use Varsity and haven't had any problems. Good luck with new unis!

I think it was the combination of sublimation and shorts? The seams looked white (black shorts) after the first comp. Even on kids (mine) without fit issues.

I wasn't saying she was lying. I don't want people to think that was my intention. They did wear the same uniform, as all levels below S5 had the same uni (except the minis). Her father could have included the cost of shoes and bow which would have brought the cost up around $600

I think it might be the case here because she later posts that a bow and makeup kit was included in the uni fee this season. Maybe she was on a s5 team, so that's why her uni fee was higher last season. I'm only guessing that's the reason since you stated that the s5's uni was different from the lower levels.

Gorgeous uniforms. Love both crop and full top. The two color waist band is super cute. I also like the rhinestones along the red lines of both the waistband and arm. Great job on the design.

ETA: after seeing Nelite's uni design and others like it. I really like when the band on the waistband and the crop top are different colors. Like Nelite's for instance the waistband is red/blue and the top band is just black ( same color/fabric as the crop). So when younger division (with same uni design) needs a leo or is just full top it flows better and looks clean. Even if the different colored band was on the crop and the black was on waistband it would still flow nicely. I just like the color to be on the top or waistband but not both . Lol sorry for the long eta.

Regarding uniform costs, aren't there world teams and larger gyms that get free/sponsored uniforms? They entertain uniform bids from different companies?

I'm sure everyone shops quotes but I can tell you that CEA does not get sponsored uniforms (at least not last year). I bought four in one year. Neither SE nor Coeds new black ones were sponsored by anyone. I know a fair number of people think they get stuff for free, my checkbook can assure you that's not the case.
