I'd say it's cutting it pretty close. It's like she does 1/4 right before she lands. I can see why it wasn't called, but I wouldn't argue if someone called it.

they actually competed against my coed 4 team about a month ago...and i questioned it and they said it was just a round off...but i froze the video and she does in fact turn before her feet hit the floor....i still dont see it as legal honestly

Why does SSX do their 1.5 ups so different? I feel like it would be 10x harder!

I dont think they should have she basically just did a back extension roll, if anything maybe a boch (spell?)

That's how my gym do our full ups! It's way easier IMO! It lets all the bases do the work instead of all if it (marjority) on the main base.

Well considering they had a literally last minute fill-in, I'd say they were pretty darn good! I know the second stunt sequence did't hit but really no other small senior team has anything like that!

I feel like Rays just have this... way of making difficult things look solid/simple. If that makes sense.

The stunts aren't as hard as others, but the hit the level 5 skills they need

their stunts hang with the rest. no team in small senior has a stunt that completely blows everyone else away.

It gets them the points they need on the scoresheet. Everything else in the routine puts them above the other teams which explains how they scored what they did even with those mistakes. Their routine is built to gets the points in all cateogies not just stunting.
People want these crazy stunts, but why not do what is needed and get the points instead of trying something super out there and giving a bigger chance of falling and losing points?

Off topic but in your signature, the flyer second from the left...is she still on the team? I always enjoyed watching her fly and jump but I just cant find her this year.
