Just saw a pic on twitter of Smoed taking a selfie with BSB.....I'm ashamed that this "cheerleaders are mean" stereotype exists even at the highest level. Wow.

This stuff is making me sick to my stomach.

I can't feel bad for the hate they've gotten this season, 75% of it they brought on themselves. If their coaches/certain athletes would act like civilized human beings on social media, they wouldn't have all these "haters". And it's only going to get worse after these disgusting posts. It's a shame that some of the athletes have made so many lose respect for the team/program.

Not even a SMOED fan. But I've gotta play devil's advocate. Those girls in the picture are excited because they just won worlds. I don't think it's unusual for them to take a selfie after the win.

I was rooting for BSB.
But just because this Kyle guy is being a jerk doesn't mean that all SMOED athletes are being intentionally ugly.

They probably should have cropped BSB out before posting, but we don't know that those specific athletes had bad intentions.
