so half the worlds division teams are leaving with at least an at large? So that's how it happens.
That is how it happens later in the season. We have been to events where there were multiple Worlds medalists went home without bids.

And if I remember from last year only a small handful of worlds division teams left Dallas without at least an at large.

I think this is right (from Wiki):

sorry i had to change my gyms name from Florida Top Dawg to Florida Top Dog... it was bothering me :) lol

It's hard to believe my cp has been cheering for 7 years and this is my FIRST Cheersport nationals!!! I have never been to Atlanta and I am a littl escared lol...i have gotten hundreds of tips from other parents but this has still gotten me nervous...

i'm with you! i am excited but nervous for cp. this is her first year and as a mini she is competing against 15 teams! i am a bit of an optomist but i see atlanta as being pretty tough competition. i just hope they aren't last or even close to last. my cp is competitive so she will be really upset!

i am also worried about being late to warm ups etc. since it's so big and there will be so many people! maybe we should start a thread on tips for first timers! i read the wiki which helped to give me a feel for the event and the flow of things...

I would say the most important thing is to be early!!! If ur coaches ask you to be there at 10 try to be there by 9:30 (but that's just me)....also if you have not done so go to gwcc.com and purchases the parking pass (for the red deck...it's the closest one) because last year the deck was full by 7am :( because so many people purchased them ahead of time

I will be taking the Marta the whole weekend. I have it mapped out and will have times mapped out as well so I won't need to pay for parking (unless we go out before or after the comp) i'm lucky enough to have family to stay with while in ATL and won't need to pay for a hotel room :-D i'm very excited and will start walking to start building up my endurance lol
