Ok, so I'm a guy, 15, and I weigh about 170 pounds (168 to be exact)

Now this seems overweight to me. And according to my BMI, It says I'm overweight.

Now I know I did gymnastics for 12 years, and a considerable amount of my mass is muscle, which is denser than fat, therefore making it heavier.

So do you think I should diet? If so, does anyone know any good diet plans?

Thanks,
Nick:)

BMI is NOT an accurate way to measure yourself... It depends on your height, but I know most athletes are considered overweight due to muscle mass with BMI. It is widely used for insurance purposes so the insurance company can charge more.

If you are really curious, go to a doctor and they can help you. I would highly doubt at 168 you are overweight though, especially if you are muscular.
