OT How To Pick Up Dances Quickly Etc.

I've always been pretty slow, but once it's in my head it's there forever.

It's also easier for me if I'm watching someone else doing it facing me and mirroring them.

Do you guys learn with techniques, or do you just pick it up quickly? HELP.

I'm the same as you, it takes a while but once I have it, it's stuck there. I've found that over time I've been picking dances up quicker though, something that really helps me remember it is doing the dance perfectly in my head whilst my dad is driving me home from practise and throughout the week whenever I get chance.
