Between youth level 5 resticted and youth level 5?

At Cheersport, CEA Youth Elite was Restricted youth 5, and Stingrays and CA were just youth 5...
So whats the difference?

it's exactly the same concept as Senior level 5 and senior restricted 5. they're limited in their tumbling (no standing fulls, no doubles, etc.) and some stunting is limited (e.g baskets are limited to kick double - no hitch-kick/switch-kicks, etc.)

Ok, that makes sense. But why have like.. youth restricted 5 when you could be just a youth 5? Like... is there some sort of thing you need to be in order to be regular youth 5?
Doesnt regualr youth 5 have restrictions as well anyway? Like... No doubles and stuff?

some teams have hardly any doubles/standing fulls and don't place well against teams that do.

OOOOOOOOOOH, so like... If I my gym had a youth 5 team, but no one could do a standing full or double on it, we would put our team in Youth 5 restricted so they would be more competitive?

CEA Kernersville Youth Elite and Raleigh Youth Elite were both at Cheersport. 1 of them had to go restricted so as not to compete against each other. Since the Kernersville team was going to see CA at NCA the next weekend anyway they went restricted. Raleigh had the chance to compete against CA at Cheersport since they weren't going to NCA.

That gave both Youth Elite teams the opportunity to compete against CA different weekends.
