Love these and I love your new uniforms! They are perfection <3Thought I'd share the bows I made for the three senior teams at my gym.
I realise I could have just posted one but I felt like posting all three

When I first joined RS I was a bit confused by the name Ellipse too. I'm still not sure but I think maybe it's something to do with the rings of Saturn??? *Becky*Stars* or leighhhhhhhh might have a better idea. Those bows are really beautiful, but I have to ask, is ellipse a UK term? I've heard of an eclipse to fit the astronomy theme, but in the US an ellipse is used in geometry. I love learning differences in English around the world!
could it be that the word is spelled incorrectly and should be "ECLIPSE" as in lunar? When I first joined RS I was a bit confused by the name Ellipse too. I'm still not sure but I think maybe it's something to do with the rings of Saturn??? *Becky*Stars* or leighhhhhhhh might have a better idea.
No it's definitely Ellipse. The gym had an issue last year when their team music had 'Eclipse' instead of Ellipse in a voiceover. But again I've only been with the gym for a year and a half so I'm not too sure.could it be that the word is spelled incorrectly and should be "ECLIPSE" as in lunar?

yes this is correctEllipse is a term that is actually used in solar systems, but when describing the shape of things (which is why it is used in geometry). It's usually used to describe the shape of an orbit.
I'd like to say I used a Silhouette Cameo to cut the words out of the vinyl but technically my friend did. It's a die cutting machine that you program to cut out whatever shape you need and then the vinyl can be ironed on to the ribbon. Pretty easy if you have the machine. I've also painstakingly cut out words in the past out of vinyl and the transfer paper you can get for t shirts etc.I'm sure this question has been answered, but I don't want to go through 101 pages--what do you guys use to put words on bows?
Like what BCheerD did with the Rising Star bows.
