You have to remember that there are parents out there working jobs who have to pay for these kids to come and provide this entertainment. In addition, most athletes attend school and there are only so many days kids can miss before parents get in trouble with the authorities! Not with WC, but seems like I recall a WC parent posting something along these lines.
