What Does Cp Mean!?

I have been on this site for a little while now and I am a little embarrassed that I don't know. People always seem to make statement or ask questions about their "cp" and I have no idea what it stands for. Most of the time I just shrug it off since i understand the gist of what their saying, and knowing who they were talking about was not really important to the subject matter. So I play madlibs with myself and take random guesses like "my carnivorous Pomeranian" or "constipated politician." But it still always irritates me when I see it and left dumbfounded.

Anyways, would anyone care to solve this puzzle that i have not been able to solve? What does "CP" stand for?

What I don't understand is that "Fierceboard Terms" is pinned to the top of the Newbie forum and the subtitle is "like what the heck does cp mean".

How people can unintentionally avoid that is beyond me.
