That's about the size of every stage I've ever competed on? And I've never seen someone fall off...

The stage my kids competed on yesterday was smaller than the floor... The floor was literally hanging off the front of the stage (just about 2 inches, but still... The stage was probably four feet high) It was pretty bad. Needless to say, we won't be back to that comp.
