Is the above the final scores for SS? Im dying over here!! Please tell me CJA made top 10 for sure!! LOL!!!!!!!

It is crazy to think that 100 teams from today won't make it through to tomorrow. As I watch the scores come in it seems that teams just keep dropping off the top 10 list.
I think it is crazy that there were that many teams competing today, but I think that subject has been :deadhorse:. I don't think there are more than 6-8 teams in each division beyond the top ten that I feel could have moved on and hung with the competition tomorrow. For those teams my heart hurts for a little bit. The others - I hope they enjoyed the experience of competing at Worlds!

I feel the same way and it totally sucks for all those busting their butts today. I've said it all year though if you're in Sm Sr or Sm Coed it pays to be consistent and earn a paid bid. A team's entire story could be written differently had they earned a paid bid and avoided competing today with all those teams to get through and a random draw for order of performance. You're more likely to win the lottery lol.

How did Worlds even fit in 2 days last year? Last year I think 20-25 teams moved on to Semis, and it didn't seem unreasonable time-wise. I guess the International divisions have simply become that huge. There is no time to have all the different countries competing twice (by virtue of the 3 per country rule) while allowing more than 10 Sr teams to advance to Semis. Pretty unfortunate.

I know we're not supposed to flagrantly prop our own gym, but I agree with you and my heart hurts too because Aviator was one of those 6-8. They just didn't get it done today. BUT, what amazing ride for a first year level 5 from a third year program! This was our first worlds....it won't be the last :D

Amen. We're currently sitting in that #11 spot. Tough stuff... :(
