I'm stuck at some competition in myrtle beach...I don't know the name so I'll just call it Not Worlds. Anyway. Not Worlds is refusing to run on time ....meanwhile the competition that matters this weekend...aka Worlds seems to be running on time


This is a problem for me as I need to get home by large coed

I hope they baseball field has another delay this year..:..

So much for a top 3... A gracious loser is better than a humble winner. Come on guys, if they really deserved to move on then they would have been announced at first not after.

I don't get how a team whos score was wrong due to a judges error gets it corrected and now is in the correct placement is a sore loser. Was it fair that they were not advancing and deserved to based on a score they earned?

Lady Aztecs just went again without the injured girl. Why did they have to do the whole routine again? I thought they'd just have to do their dance because that's where it was stopped the first time. They had to mark half the pyramid and skipped a basket

Generally, scores (when they're announced in a timely fashion) are announced prior to the challenge time limit ending. It is entirely plausible CA was still fighting when USASF made all of their announcements. I've had it happen to me (not at Worlds).

My boyfriend is watching cheerleading comp for the first time and those were just some of his quotes and questions:

*team does jumps to back and than running tumbling* OMG the whole team just did back flip..well yeah its worlds this is best of the best...I know but all of them just did a backflip. How is this possible?!?

*a girl is wearing a knee brace* look at that girl she is injuriedshe is wearing a brace. Why is she still competing if her knee is hurting?

*boy on BSB do a jump standing full* wow that was actually really good. He is a like robot.

They are all doing the same stuff. This is boring.

Someone should paid you a plain ticket to USA because you are sitting her for two days without moving...I am not the only one believe me...There's no way there are other people watching this non stop like you do...

*BSB drop pyramid* I scream. What?!? they are not supposed to fall like this?

If Wildcats were scored INCORRECTLY, they have every right to fight it. If they proved their point, they should move on and USASF did the right thing and moved the four teams forward.

That's how it works, they're only scored from the point the music was stopped though.

I think the issue is more when the announcement came---why did it take so long for CA to win their case? If they were still fighting for their score, USASF should have held off announcing top 3. I'm not saying I'm not happy they're all going---as long as Blink went I was happy, BUT I think that is what people are questioning.

I can see that, but the way I read the post I quoted was that they were not happy that Wildcats were able to protest their score to move on.

Secretly hoping Wildcat's score was calculated wrong, the judges will realize they made a mistake, and all 4 get to go to finals....

This is why I think the 3 teams per country rule needs to end. Teams that are scoring in the 50s and 60s should not be able to go to finals. They should have a minimum score requirement to get into finals and if your country can't meet that then next highest scores from any country should fill that spot until all the spots are full
